The Stracciatella shawl is a top-down “semi-swirl” shawl making a stunning accessory playing with shape, colour and texture.

Only simple stitch patterns are used, to great effect. Two colours of fingering weight yarn create a beautiful feminine shawl, in which to wrap yourself up, and with an I-cord edge and Icelandic bind off the final article is beautifully finished.

Inspired by the speckles in the yarn, and the swirled shape to the shawl recalling Italian gelato, the Stracciatella shawl looks good enough to eat!
